Recently, Heilongjiang Science and Technology Awards Committee announced the results of Heilongjiang Science and Technology Award of 2019.
“Key Technology and Application of Prediction of Fluid Load and Motion Response of Deep-water Floating Platform in Harsh Sea District” directed by Prof. Zhao Binbin won the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award, and “Research on the Hydrodynamic Characteristics and Mechanism of Horizontal-axis Tidal Current Turbine” directed by Associate Professor Liu Hengxu won the Second Prize of Natural Science.
In recent years, faculty members of our college have conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Fourth Party Congress of HEU, and fully devoted to the scientific and technological work. Focusing on “Double First-Class” and “A+ Disciplinary Construction”, high-level scientific and technological innovation achievements have continuously emerged. Since 2016, the college has won two First prizes, six Second prizes, and two Third prizes of Science and Technology Award of Heilongjiang Province, which marks a significant progress in quantity and quality over the Twelfth- Five-Year Plan.
