Faculty status: 21 full-time teachers, including 7 professors and 11 associate professors. Among them, there are 1 expert of deep sea exploration technology in the field of marine technology of “863” plan, 1 expert in the overall group of high-tech ship special plan of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, 1 expert in the ship and submarine technology group of the General Reserve Department of PLA, 1 member of the ISSC organization, 1 member of the National Engineering Laboratory of Digital Shipbuilding.
The main research directions: around the key overall technology of ship and ocean engineering, digital information technology of ship and ocean engineering and “polar ships and ocean engineering mechanics”, carrying out teaching, scientific research, personnel training and discipline construction.
The main scientific research achievements: The team has published more than 100 high-level papers in the past five years, including more than 30 SCI indexed papers and 40 EI indexed papers, obtained more than 50 invention patents and software copyrights, and yielded more than 280 million yuan of scientific research funds. The team won 1 second prize of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 third prizes of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 third prizes of Heilongjiang Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Shipbuilding Association, as well as nine provincial and ministerial level teaching achievement awards.
Communication and cooperation: In the past five years, the team members have participated in more than ten major conferences such as ICNAME, the international conference on design and manufacturing frontier, and sent many young teachers to go abroad as visiting scholars and many doctoral students to go abroad for short-term exchanges.
