From Sept. 27 to 28, 2017, the National 863 Program Project,Remote Rapid Unmanned Vehicle Autonomous Monitoring System undertaken by the Key Laboratory of Underwater Vehicle Technology of thiscollegecompleted and passed the acceptance test at sea in the offshore area of Lvshun New Port, Dalian.

Following the Military 973 and preliminary research projects of surface unmanned vehicle, this project was another national-defence surface unmanned vehicle project undertaken by the Key Laboratory of underwater vehicle technology of this college. The subject took the demand of ocean dynamic environment monitoring in deep sea and far sea of our country as the traction, and aiming at rapidity, wide-area, long-term functioning, high flexibility, reliability,high-precision and intelligent ocean exploration. The project has been completed and a set of autonomous unmanned vessel monitoring system developed, having independent intellectual property rights.
