The overall technology of ship and offshore platform

In this research field, there are two teams, the ship design and construction technology and ship's overall and system technology. There are 25 full-time teachers, including 5 professors and 11 associate professors.

Major researches are “Overall and Key Technologies for Ship and Ocean Engineering”, “Digitalization of Ship and Ocean Engineering, Information Technology”, etc. During the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, a series of achievements, including teaching and education, scientific research, personnel training, and faculty construction, have been made. We have been granted 3 national-level teaching awards and 6 provincial-level teaching achievement awards. Participated in 19 national-level student innovation activities and won 30 national-level competition awards. We have published 6 teaching reform papers and 4 textbooks. We have 188 master students graduated, 4 of whom went to the United States, Britain and Finland for professional study, and 7 teachers went to Russia, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries for academic exchanges and scientific research and cooperation.

We have won 6 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards, published more than 80 high-level papers, and obtained about 30 invention patents and software copyrights. It has completed nearly 100 research projects, including the funding from National Natural Science Foundation, the National 863 Program, the National Major Sub-project, the National Marine Renewable Energy Project, the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Defense Pre-Research, Model Research, High-Tech Vessel Specialization projects, and International Science and Technology Cooperation program, fund from the Ministry of Education, the provincial and municipal science and technology research, and the supporting research for production.

Part of the completed research:

Multi-functional manned submersible technology research realizes functions such as long-distance detection and close-range pose measurement (find), high-sea status of high-precision dynamic positioning (stable), and docking with large amplitude heel and trim (matching);

Research on autonomous submersible docking technology has achieved the landmark results of the submarine's independent search, navigation, control and final accurate entry into the underwater recovery device of the predetermined sea area;

Series of maneuvering simulator of ships make break through with ship's six-degree-of-freedom mathematical model, real-time motion simulation, marine environment simulation and visualization, multi-resolution modeling and real-time dynamic rendering, three-dimensional human-computer interactive simulation and massive simulation database / Core technologies such as design and real-time scheduling of model libraries;

The improvement design and engineering implementation of more than 10 ship cabins such as the 80kn three-body ultra-high-speed test boat and the double-body partial air cushion test ship have been widely recognized by the equipment department and shipbuilding enterprises;

Ship overall simulation, verification and evaluation research established a typical large-scale surface ship database and overall performance simulation verification index system for classical ships of domestic and abroad; obtain the major parameters, general layout, navigation performance and shipboard engine recovery for large surface ships. The simulation verification method of capability, shipboard layout and other methods has completed the construction of a comprehensive evaluation system platform for large-scale surface ships, and provided technical support for the comprehensive evaluation of the overall performance of proposed domestic ships.
