Faculty status: There are 16 members in the team, including 1 professor, 2 researcher (including 1 part-time researcher), 4 associate professors, 3 lecturers, 1 senior engineer, 3 experimental teachers, and 2 teaching assistants, including 4 PhD student supervisors and 7 master supervisors. Professor Yao Xiongliang, the team leader, was selected into the top two level of the National Millions of TalentProject in 1997, selected as the academic technology leader of the 511 Talent Projectin 2005 and selected as Distinguished Professor of Longjiang Scholarin 2008..

The main research directionsItincludes four aspects: underwater explosion and ship protection, underwater launching and water entering technology, ship vibration & noise reduction and ship composite application research. The main application fields of the research cover the shipbuilding industry, naval equipment, aerospace engineering and rocket army equipment. The team conducted in-depth basic researches in a variety of areas, including impact dynamics, structural vibration and vibro-acoustics, impact hydrodynamics, composite mechanics, smart materials and intelligent control, basic experimental technology, and the development of new pressure and motion sensors.

Main scientific research achievements In the past five years, the team has undertaken more than 100 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Key Project, National Defense 973, National Defense Basic Scientific Research Plan, etc.. The completed scientific research projects won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 second and 1 third prizes of National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award, and 2 Science and Technology Awards of Heilongjiang. The team has published more than 200 high-level academic papers including those indexed by SCI and EI, and obtained more than 100 invention patents.
