Faculty status: 7 full-time teachers, including 2 professor, 5 associate professors, and 2 foreign cooperative teachers.
Main research directions: marine renewable energy resource assessment and environmental dynamics research, marine renewable energy efficient energy conversion system research, marine renewable energy high performance carrier system research, and marine renewable energy system integration optimization research.
Main scientific research achievements: During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, there were 33 scientific research projects, including a number of National Natural Science Foundations, 1 National ‘863’ Program, 4 National Science and Technology Support Programs, 1 National public welfare project of Oceans, 4 national marine renewable energy projects, and 2 international cooperation projects, etc. During the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” period, there are more projects, including 1 sub-project of the major special project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; 1 major project of the China-UK Ocean Energy International Cooperation of the Natural Science Foundation of China; 1 key project of the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shandong Provincial Joint Fund, and other 2 National Natural Science Foundations. During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and Thirteenth Five-Year Plan period, the team has won 6 awards (including 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 1 third prize at the provincial and ministerial level and 2 first prizes at the bureau level). published 123 articles (including 15 SCI indexed and 62 EI indexed papers), written 4 books, and applied for 17 invention patents and 5 software copyrights.
Communication and cooperation: In the past five years, the team members have participated in international conferences for more than 40 times, cooperating extensively with universities such as Oxford University, Cranfield University, and University of Strathclyde.
